Jordan Issackedes

Senior Partner

Mr. Issackedes has vast experience through a number of significant corporate positions during his 45-year business career. As a Senior Partner at Hedgerow, he has been instrumental in a number of mergers and acquisitions.

He also served as a Director and is Chairman of the Executive Committee of United Systems Technology, a publicly traded software company specializing in providing administrative software for municipalities and county government. While President, he sold off non-producing assets and consolidated the business to the headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

He held the position as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Office of Software Plus, Inc., managing a major turnaround while increasing revenues from $3 to $9 million in three years and reversed losses of $425,000 to $1.5 million in profits and cash, while re-paying all the debt the company had incurred.

He purchased a 50 percent interest in C&J Zimmer Flooring, a manufacturer and contracting firm. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he increased sales and profits five-fold over a three-year period.

Mr. Issackedes has been personally involved in negotiating many acquisitions. Two of note; while President and CEO of General Felt Industries, he created a unique financing structure to consummate the leveraged buyout of the firm. He went on to design, coordinate and structure the leveraged buyout of Knoll International Furniture Company as well, working with Marshal Cogan and Stephen Swid in both transactions.

As Vice President of Finance and Director of the Okonite Company, he was involved in a number of IPO's and appeared at the SEC to move many of the deals through to completion. While there he was involved, in a substantial number acquisitions which doubled the size of the company.

He also held the position of Senior Vice President of St. Nicholas Church in Wyckoff, New Jersey.

Chris E. Talis

Senior Partner

Mr. Talis (Tsamutalis), Hedgerow founder and Senior Partner, has intimately dealt with the vital issues surrounding middle market companies his entire career. His diverse background includes business consultancy; debt and equity placements; business valuation; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; financial analysis; succession planning and exit strategies.

His career began at Campos & Stratis, a world renowned forensic accounting firm and expanded to Merrill Lynch in Foreign Securities; Mr. Talis later become controller for a middle market industrial machine distributor and served as Director and Treasurer for this multi-state corporation. Thereafter he co-founded Zisa & Talis, a New Jersey accounting partnership and subsequently formed his own accounting and consultancy firm offering wide ranging services and solutions to its client base of companies, entrepreneurs, professionals and celebrities.

Mr. Talis has personally refinanced troubled companies, directed a management buyout and most completed the equity placement of a SAN consulting concern where he remains as an equity holder after a VC round of financing.  Mr. Talis is also a director of a boutique closely held private equity firm.  He is currently working on projects that include a national food franchise build-out, a medical management services company using an offshore outsourcing model, a warehouse management solutions provider using a SaaS model, and an ethnic focused debit card offering. 

Mr. Talis has also directed bankruptcy workouts, federal and state tax restructurings and administered creative financing strategies with the SBA and EDA. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Cathedral of St. John the Theologian and was elected to its Executive Council.

He holds an MBA in finance and taxation and is a New Jersey licensed Certified Public Accountant.


Socrates C. Tsamutalis

Partner

Socrates, a Rutgers Business School graduate began his career at Ernst and Young in their tax department working specifically within the asset management tax practice.  Since joining Hedgerow, he has worked extensively on small to middle market transactions focusing on the intricate tax issues of asset divestitures.  Socrates also has an equity stake in Hedgerow 800 Equity Partners & is also a board member.  This company, a venture fund,  has a substantial stake in one of the largest holders in 800 telephone numbers globally.  

Timothy Bray, P.E.

Director - Corporate Business Development

The newest member of the Hedgerow team, Mr. Bray brings a twenty year broad based background in real estate development, technical design and construction.  Mr. Bray is a New Jersey state licensed professional engineer and as such utilizes a unique, highly analytical, problem solving mindset to provide proven solutions across the full spectrum of business related issues. 

Mr. Bray has an excellent ability to fully grasp the often complex, variable rich equations that define a company's short and long term viability, true market worth and growth potential.  He is also able to provide excellent macro/global vision while retaining practical, real world, implementable fine detail.  Mr. Bray has used this skill set to facilitate the launch and growth of several successful and growing businesses running the gamut from design/build mechanical contracting firms to real estate management to software development and overseas medical back office service providers.   

David R. Luster

Director - Corporate Business Development

Mr. Luster has a wealth of diverse business experience covering a broad mix of industries. He began his career in international trade, attained the position of Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Director of worldwide Sourcing for Worldtiles, Inc., a large trading company headquartered in the United States. During his 15 year tenure, he traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, South America, and was headquartered in Italy for 10 years. During that time, he established offices there and built strong supplier relations.

He furthered his career when provided the opportunity to head up a new manufacturing venture for Ceratile, Inc. of Idaho. Here, David was responsible for selecting the process technology and negotiating the purchase of the manufacturing equipment for this high technology ceramics producer. He developed a successful marketing strategy, promoting the company's corporate image and products throughout North America.

David went on to head up the international marketing division of GeoChem International, for a U.S.-based resin export firm, managing the Mexican and Peruvian operations, building market share as well as profits for the company.

Moreover, he broadened his business acumen by accepting the position of Senior Project Advisor for First Fidelity National Trust, a private merchant bank headquartered in Rhode Island. During his years at First Fidelity, he traveled throughout Latin America, Southeast Asia and Europe, qualifying company management and assessing project viability for its return on investment potential. Project investments ranged from $50 to $250 million dollars, covering a wide variety of industries including IT, aerospace, textile, non-ferrous metals and commercial real estate development.

As Director of Corporate Business Development for Hedgerow, David works closely with each business owner to develop a sound strategy for identifying and achieving each clients specific goals. Acting as the point-man for due diligence, research and project development, he authors all sales memorandums for Hedgerow clientele. His broad business experience and knowledge is carried forward with his ability to deliver a compelling executive seminar workshop, imparting valuable insight to business owners seeking merger, acquisition and divestiture opportunities.

Foffie Christo

Analyst

Ms. Christo has been in the profession of preparing and analyzing financial statements and making appropriate recommendations her entire career.

Her extensive experience in accounting and auditing has enabled her to recognize the financial strengths and weaknesses of a business concern. Ms. Christo's industry experience includes the corrugated box industry, printing industry, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, as well as many service-related industries.

As an in-house Hedgerow Analyst, Foffie works directly alongside the Senior Partners of the firm to prepare and analyze in detail, all financial data of the client. This pre-preparation work enables the Senior Partners to have a complete overview of the financials of each corporation.

Ms. Christo holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Rutgers University.
